Palm Care

Light
Palms can adjust to low light areas, but prefer bright filtered light for maximum growth.
 
Water
Do not allow your palm to get waterlogged, they are sensitive to overwatering. For palms, brown leaf tips often indicate overwatering, while yellow leaves indicate underwatering.
 
Humidity
Average indoor humidity and temperatute is fine for your cat palm. Keep it clear of air conditioning or cool window drafts.
 
Pests & Problems
Consistent watering is important for palms. If they go back and forth from completely dry to overly wet, the fronds will yellow and die. Common indoor pests like scale, spider mites, and mealy bugs can sap your palm of energy and should be handled early on with natural or chemical insecticides.
