Ficus Lyrata "Fiddle Leaf Fig" Little Sunshine
Everyone's favorite diva, the fiddle leaf fig. Here in a cute, compact variety.
Fiddle Leaf Fig Care
Place your fiddle leaf fig close to bright, indirect light. It will bend towards the sun, so rotate it if you’d like it to stand upright. The leaves will get a sunburn in direct sun.
Water consistently when the top 1” of soil is dry. The leaves of your tree will become floppy then turn brown and drop without enough water.
Fiddle leaf figs enjoy humidity, so give it a mist occasionally. Keep it away from any drafts or air from the AC or heater.
Pests & Problems
Fiddle leaf fig plants are sensitive to being moved. They often drop some leaves when moving into a new home or location. Give them about 3 weeks to acclimate in their new spot. The leaves also tend to get dusty, so wipe them down every now and then.
They are mildly toxic and will cause mouth and stomach irritation if eaten.
